What affects your results

Every skin is different — and results in medical aesthetics are genuinely variable. The before and after photos you see here represent a range of real outcomes, not curated best-cases. At GloUp Med Spa, we believe you deserve an honest picture of what treatment can realistically do for you.

• Skin type and tone

  Fitzpatrick skin type affects how the skin responds to laser energy and how quickly it clears pigment. Lighter skin types typically clear faster with laser treatments. Darker skin types may require adjusted settings and longer protocols to minimize risk of hyperpigmentation.

• Ink depth and age

  For tattoo removal, older tattoos tend to respond faster as the ink has already begun to break down naturally. Professionally applied tattoos are typically placed more deeply and consistently, which can require more sessions than amateur work.

• Number of sessions

  Most laser-based treatments require a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart. Single-session photos in this gallery reflect treatments like permanent makeup or fibroblast — not laser protocols, which are cumulative.

• Aftercare adherence

  Proper sun protection, moisturizing, and avoiding specific activities during healing directly impacts treatment outcomes. Clients who follow aftercare instructions consistently see more complete results.
